Anna is a senior and a third year member of the BluePrints staff. She served as opinion editor her sophomore year, and has been editor-in-chief for the past two years. Anna plans on majoring in journalism in college and has a passion for writing and reporting. She loves cheeseburgers, AC/DC and reading J.K Rowling.
Morgan is a senior and a second year member of the BluePrints Staff. She served as business manager in her junior year and is currently serving as managing editor. Morgan plans on majoring in early childhood education and minoring in photography when she enters college. She has been a dancer for twelve years and can often be found dancing at Patty’s Dance Center or taking pictures.
Justin is a senior and second- year member of the BluePrints staff. He served as the features editor last year and he is the sports editor for this year. He had so much fun last year that he had to come back for more. Justin enjoys reading up on obscure sports statistics, listening to classic rock and watching Indians games.
Carsten is a senior and a second- year member of the BluePrints staff. He likes to play video games, bake, learn languages, write reviews on Amazon and read and watch Star Wars books and movies. He is quite excited about the upcoming Star Wars movie this December. Carsten does not know what he will do after high school, but he does want to do something interesting.
Daniel is a senior and a second year member of the BluePrints staff. Daniel enjoyed being on staff last year and decided to continue this year as features editor. He has played soccer since he was three and also plays for the school. After high school he plans to play soccer and study international relations. He enjoys long walks on the beach and has a love for yoga.
This is Dustin’s first year in BluePrints. He is a senior who joined because he hates the media and wanted to take it down from within. He runs cross country and track and enjoys photography. After high school, he plans on studying photography further in college and travelling abroad. Typically he can be found running, taking pictures or writing biographies in the third person.
Megan is a junior and a first year member of the BluePrints staff. She joined the staff because she wanted to expand her writing styles and because Anna Minton always made it sound fun. Megan is a year round field hockey player who plans to take her skills to the collegiate level while studying International Business. She can often be found studying or on the field.
Hannah Dear is a senior and a first year member of the BluePrints staff. She is pretty much your atypical vegan nerd. Hannah enjoys discussing 1200 page French novels, fangirling over Shakespeare characters, watching documentaries and daydreaming about attending Ivy League colleges. Hannah hopes to double major in English and journalism with minors in Chinese and political science. What is she going to do with those degrees? Don’t ask…
Emma is a junior and first-year member of the Blueprints Staff. She joined the staff in order to explore different genres of writing and to gain more writing experience because she would like to pursue a career in writing. Emma is a cheerleader and enjoys reading, watching Netflix and laughing with her sisters.
Sydney is a junior, and this is her first year on the Blueprints staff. She joined because she heard the class was really fun and a great way to learn about different styles of writing. Sydney is on the swim team and hopes to study ecology when she graduates next year.
Ashlyn is a senior and is a second-year member of the BluePrints staff. Ashlyn joined the staff because she had a great time last year and was excited to keep improving her writing. Ashlyn is in cheerleading and loves being involved in Granville and showing some school spirit. She also enjoys sitting down and watching Netflix.
Mackenzie is a junior, and this is her first year on the BluePrints staff. She joined because she enjoys English and thought this class would be fun. Mackenzie is on the cheerleading squad, and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Sam is a senior and this is his first year on the Blueprints staff. He joined because he loves English and has a passion for writing about the things that are really important like celebrity gossip and southern hip-hop. After high school, Sam plans on going to college and majoring in English.
Mackenna is a senior and first year member. She joined the BluePrints staff to expand her nonfiction writing portfolio. She’s an active member of the theatre and choir department in Granville. She enjoys writing, reading and listening to and playing music.
Jordan is a senior and a first year member of the BluePrints Staff. She joined the staff so that she could expand her writing. Jordan dances competitively in Gahanna and non-competitively in Newark. She’s been dancing since she was three years old. She enjoys reading, listening to music and being social with friends in her free time. After high school Jordan plans on dancing in college.
Karissa is a senior and a first-year member. She joined BluePrints to become a better writer, learn to write different types of stories, and because Ashlyn told her it would be fun. She plays volleyball and loves hanging out with her friends on the weekends or staying at home and watching Netflix.
Ava is a junior and a first year member of the BluePrints Staff. She joined the staff to explore journalism as a possible future career and to hang out with her friends. She is a cheerleader and likes spending time with her family and friends.
Lexi is a junior and a first year member of the BluePrints staff. She wanted to join Journalism because she heard it was a fun class to take and to learn a lot about writing styles. She is a cheerleader and likes to hang out with her friends and family.

Hannah is a junior and a first year member of the BluePrints Staff. She joined the staff to learn more about different kinds of writing styles and to become a more well-rounded writer. She is a soccer player and enjoys spending time with friends on the weekends.
Jake is a senior and a first year member of the BluePrints staff. He joined the staff so he could expand his horizons in writing. He works for Stray Dog Strength and is a member of the football and lacrosse team. Jake started the JV Physics Club as a sophomore, and enjoys listening to Drake and Lil Uzi Vert in his free time. Upon graduation, Jake plans to attend West Virginia University.
Elijah is a junior and a first-year member of the BluePrints staff. He joined the staff because he enjoys sports writing and might pursue a career in journalism. He is a basketball player and enjoys hanging out with friends or playing video games.
Chris is a senior and first-year member of the BluePrints Staff. He joined the staff so that he could express his ideas and feelings on the world from the standpoint of a man. Chris co-founded the Star Wars and Lord of the Rings clubs as well as the Bearded Mans Club. He has a beard that rivals that of Zeus and enjoys caring for his beard while listening to classic rock music. He enjoys all music except country, and upon graduation Chris plans to study music at Belmont University.
Riley is a junior and a first-year member of the BluePrints staff. She joined journalism to expand her writing. Riley is a cheerleader and likes to hangout with friends and watch Netflix.
Cortez Yannie is a senior and a first-year member of the BluePrints staff. He joined the staff so he could show and express his ideas and opinions on the world from a standpoint of a young adult. Cortez co-founded the Star Wars Club and is a part of the Ping-Pong Club and the CS Go club. He makes instrumental beats that put DJ Mustard to shame and enjoys sitting back with a cold lemonade and watching movies with friends. Cortez enjoys all music except country, and upon graduating he plans on studying science.

Mrs. Tolbert got her start in journalism as the features editor of her college newspaper. She briefly considered a career in the media after completing internships at KDKA-TV and Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood, but then she fell in love with teaching English. A student publication adviser for almost twenty years, she received specialized training in teaching journalism as a 2003 ASNE Summer Institute fellow
